DIOSES, HÉROES, ATLETAS, Y PENSAMIENTO MÍTICO PARALELO DE GRIEGOS Y AZTECAS EN EL MUNDO CONTEMPORÁNEO.

RESUMEN

La pertenencia de las actividades físicas y del deporte al ámbito de la cultura, así como las formas de trasmitir su identidad y los valores que sustentan,  han mantenido, desde el mundo clásico a nuestros día, un hilo conductor permanente asentado en la teoría y en la esencia del mito y del pensamiento mítico.

En el presente trabajo, tras establecer claramente el concepto de pensamiento mítico y su relación con las actividades físicas, tal como fue formulado por los filósofos del mundo clásico, sometemos a prueba nuestra teoría mediante una comparación de las diferentes deidades de la Grecia Clásica y del mundo Azteca, para verificar, como la esencia mítica es independiente de las culturas y como, en ambos casos, los mitos se asientas sobre capacidades físicas ó idealización de las mismas que coinciden, pese a las enormes distancias en tiempo y espacio.

Establecida la identidad y esencia de los mitos los referimos al deporte y analizamos su presencia y su valor en la construcción y destrucción de los personajes míticos deportivos actuales, como un punto de partida para la solución a las crisis del deporte y de los movimientos deportivos contemporáneos.

ABSTRACT

Membership of physical activities and sports to the field of culture, as well as ways to transmit their identity and values that sustain, have maintained, from the classical world to our day, a constant theme based in theory and the essence of myth and mythical thinking.

In this paper, after establishing clearly the concept of mythic thought and its relationship with physical activities, as formulated by the philosophers of the classical world, we test our theory by comparing the various deities of classical Greece and Azteca world to verify, as the mythical essence is independent of cultures and how, in both cases, the myth is built on physical or idealization of the same match, despite the vast distances in time and space.

Established the identity and essence of the myths about sports and analyze their presence and value in the construction and destruction of existing sports mythical characters as a starting point for the solution to the crisis of sports and athletic movements contemporary.
